NZ Master BuildersHouse of the Year 2025
For the 2025 New Zealand Master Builders Awards, Under Construction was very proud to have brought home the Silver award in the $1-1.5 million category for our Whalefield New Build. It takes a huge amount of effort, cohesive workmanship and patience to bring a home like this to life and we are exceptionally proud of the team and wider subcontractor group who pulled this job off.
We also want to thank our clients, now friends who trusted us with the task and who we worked closely and tirelessly with throughout the entire process.
NZ Master BuildersApprentice of the Year Award 2023
Our once Apprentice now foreman Lee Spooner won 3rd place in the 2023 Apprentice of the year Central North Island competition. The Master Builders Apprentice of the Year, in Partnership with CARTERS, is the leading apprentice competition for the building and construction sector.
It recognises excellence among carpentry apprentices and raises awareness of career opportunities in the building and construction industry. We are chuffed for Lee and proud to have him continue on in his role becoming our Foreman and an integral part of the Under Construction Team.
